The month of August I will be fishing at the mouth of the Columbia River near the town of Astoria, also reffered to as "Buoy 10". It is a 1.5- 2.0 hour drive from Portland. I will be doing Combo trips for Chinook and Coho Salmon, along with Dungenous Crabbing. There is a large run of Chinook Salmon predicted to return this Summer/Fall. So there should be lots of catching between the Salmon and the Crabbing. This is the best oportunity of the year for catching Salmon.

Most Guide boats in the area don't have windshields or tops. With the ever-changing weather conditions in Oregon, I find it necessary to keep people dry, warm, shaded, comfortable and smiling. The extra effort it takes me to keep the boat running straight with a top is well worth the effort to make your experience a fun one. My top and side curtains can be put up, down or away in under 5 minutes whenever you want.
